What would it be like if we lived in a world where a community can get together with the support of local businesses and show love for their neighbor? And this neighbor, happens to be a 12 year old girl who woke up one morning this past November with back pain and by the end of the day was paralyzed from the chest down. With no warning this families' lives changed forever.

Well everyone, it did happen!

On Saturday, April 12th Pub Theology, along with Mo's Irish Pub, Aaron Pelsue Band, Midnight Run and The Bishops and many businesses and others in the community showered Mia Carter and her family with love through a silent auction and a good old fashion offering. It was a small glimpse of heaven. There was worship, laughter and tears shed.

Mia and her family can start working toward an easier life with the support of hundreds of neighbors and donations of over $25,000 from this gathering.

Was it mentioned this took place at a pub? Yep, it did. You can love your neighbor anywhere. Keep your heart open to where you will be led to love.
